Iglesia Ni Cristo Singapore and Hongkong

Manila, Philippines (May 2010) - It is everyone's knowledge that Mike Velarde (El Shaddai) and Eddie Villanueva (Born Again) has a strong following in Hongkong and Singapore. Ferriols' 4th watch followers are also visible and active in the 2 countries we mentioned. However, Eduardo Manalo's Iglesia Ni Cristo is really not that many in overseas, particularly in Hongkong and Singapore.

The activeness of the Iglesia Ni Cristo in Philippine politics is exactly in contrast in Singapore and Hongkong. Politicians in these 2 countries are not that "corrupt" compared here in Manila. We cannot see any INC chapels in Hongkong and Singapore. Does these 2 countries not allow cults to erects their chapels on their lands, we don't know.

Iglesia Ni Cristo Hongkong supported ALAGAD and other partylists, we are not sure.
Iglesia Ni Cristo Singapore supported ALAGAD and other partylists, we are not sure.
But we are quite certain that the INC members in these 2 countries are not that many
compared to El Shaddai and the Born Again movement.

Mike Velarde and Eddie Villanueva frequently visits Hongkong and Singapore to check their members but we cannot see Erano Manalo and Eduardo Manalo making the effort to visit Hongkong and Singapore because INC members are very few in these 2 countries. We can see during election campaign periods different candidates wooing El Shaddai and Born Again followers in Hongkong and Singapore but you cannot see candidates meeting INC members overseas. Why? Because everyone knows that outside the Philippines, Iglesia Ni Cristo have a very small membership. And in different countries, Iglesia Ni Cristo is being seen as cult by other religion because of their awkward doctrine that Jesus is not a God but only a man.

Iglesia Ni Cristo - What does Catholics and Protestants say

This can also be explained that Hongkong and Singapore are 2 countries that are very crucial in politics. They may not welcome a political church (or cult) like Iglesia Ni Cristo to be involved in politics. Iglesia Ni Cristo is very active in Philippine politics. Only during the Philippine elections that INC is making headlines. Bloc-voting is a religious doctrine of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. Non-compliance to INC's political decisions about candidates will lead to members expulsion. Iglesia Ni Cristo, despite of it's riches, is not well-known of it's community services and goodwill to other religious groups. INC treats other religion as reprobates and belong to hell. Iglesia Ni Cristo church and members was also involved in the violent political anti-government rally of EDSA 3 aimed to unseat a Philippine president.

EDSA 3 Colors of Iglesia Ni Cristo is PowerLESS

Only in the Philippines that Iglesia Ni Cristo is able to fool the politicians.

El Shaddai and the Born Again movement enjoy substantial growth in Hongkong and Singapore which can be easily explained on the number of votes of their respective partylists BUHAY and CIBAC. Iglesia Ni Cristo is just a small group in Hongkong and Singapore compared to El Shaddai and Singapore. ALAGAD partylist has a very small voters inside and outside the Philippines.

    1. Indeed.

He's hopelessly deluded if he thinks the INC isn't as numerous as El Shaddai outside the Philippines.

    2. Just a cursory look at incmedia.org shows you how many ecclesiastical districts exist outside the Philippines.
