Born Again CIBAC partylist

Manila, Philippines (May 2010) - The Born Again Movement's CIBAC partylist placed 2nd as the most number of votes for the religion-endorsed partylist. BUHAY of the El Shaddai group is in the first place for gathering over 1 million votes. CIBAC partylist got most of their votes from the locations: (Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Bataan, Laguna, Quezon City, Manila, Rizal, Pampanga, Pangasinan) giving them over 330,000 votes!!! Although the partylist votes for CIBAC seems to decreased from the year 2007 (755,605 votes) to this year's election.

I was able to have some short chit-chat to some CIBAC partylist supporters and I was amazed how they fully believed that Bro. Eddie Vilanueva's candidacy for president is a calling from God. They even mentioned to me the prophecy of a certain Cindy Jacobs (i don't know her) to the Philippines. We have to take note that Bro. Eddie Villanueva's 2010 presidential candidacy is already his 2nd try to become the Philippine president. He also lost last 2004 election to Gloria Arroyo. I truly admire their strong support to Bro. Eddie Villanueva and CIBAC partylist. Their supporters are really looking forward for a big change in Philippine politics once Bro. Eddie Villanueva be elected as the next president. We very seldom talked about CIBAC since I am also convinced that CIBAC partylist will easily win at least one congressional seat, like how they won last 2007 election. BUHAY and CIBAC partylist are the constant leaders in church-partylist vote counts. The only remaining decision to be discussed is how many seats are they going to take. I am not just sure if the CIBAC partylist and Bro.Eddie Villanueva supporters were paid or just doing everything out of their faith.

CIBAC ruled the Overseas Absentee Voting in Hongkong and Singapore beating BUHAY.
CIBAC (7,298) = Hongkong (6,934) + Singapore (364)
BUHAY (2,982) = Hongkong (2,761) + Singapore (221)

CIBAC also ruled Bulacan, the known territory of Bro.Eddie Villanueva
CIBAC (105,658)
BUHAY (90,442)

Filipino Born Again Christians are scattered all over the Philippines and in Hongkong and Singapore. But like El Shaddai's BUHAY and Iglesia Ni Cristo's ALAGAD, most of their voting population comes from Luzon, particularly in NCR and its nearby places. It is just pity how coward Iglesia Ni Cristo is when they refuse to show their real number of voters. Although based on statistics and estimate, the INC vote will not even exceed half a million votes. Major INC strong locations voted ALAGAD, and yet they were beaten down by El Shaddai and the Born Again movement.

One thing that is worth noticing is the continued decline of voters supporting CIBAC and ALAGAD partylists. Only El Shaddai's BUHAY partylist votes increased (by small amount) in this year's election compared to the last 2007 election. Will Bro. Eddie Villanueva run again in the next election as Philippine president? Let's wait what their God (and /or Cindy Jacobs) will tell to the Born Again Movement.

With the decreasing number of CIBAC voters, I advise Bro. Eddie Villanueva not to run as president again in the next election and just help the newly elected Philippine President Noynoy Aquino. Bro. Eddie Villanueva maybe efficient in accepting a cabinet position, how about Secretary of DSWD or Department of Justice or Department of Education?

Eddie Villanueva 2004 election votes - 1.9 million votes
Eddie Villanueva 2010 election votes - 1 million votes
